Why YOU Need to Walk in Peace

Why YOU Need to Walk in Peace

I know…I’ve been talking a lot about “peace” lately.

It seems to be something people really need right now, especially with everything going on in the world.

We’ve got the upcoming presidential elections, things going on in the church, constant negative news about what’s happening locally and globally, and that’s not even mentioning the concerns in people’s daily lives.

The enemy is constantly trying to keep us down as believers.

He wants us stuck in worry, anxiety, and fear so that unbelievers don’t see anything different in our lives.

Why would they want what we’ve got (Christ) when they see the same things that they already have (fear, stress, worry, anxiety)?

It’s only a portion of what we have in Christ, but as Christians, we have been delivered from all the junk that plagues the unbeliever.

We’ve got to rise to a higher level in life.

We’ve got to be a demonstration of what being a son or daughter of God, a citizen of Heaven, and an ambassador of Christ actually looks like.

And to do that, we’ve got to push past these feelings that shouldn’t belong to a child of God.

It doesn’t mean that negative feelings won’t try to come, but we shouldn’t be led by them or dwell in them.

It’s time to OVERCOME, instead of setting up residence in this place of constant fear, anxiety, worry, or stress!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

I know I’m being pretty direct today, but I care about you fulfilling the calling God has on your life.

Because people are waiting on you!

Someone in your sphere of influence needs what you have, but if you can’t even walk in peace, then why would they care about your God?

Okay, I hope I’ve gotten your attention…enough that you’ll do something about it.

As a good place to start, I’ve included a list below of my previous newsletters & videos on peace, which have been posted to my website.

If you’re no longer okay living like the rest of the world does, in fear, anxiety, worry, and stress, then do something different. Just take that step of faith and read, listen, and watch some of these posts on a daily basis.

It’s not the only way to take a step of faith, but it’s a start!

I hope this encourages you that peace is already yours because Christ has given it to you.

See you next time, and remember, God is good and life should be too!
