Hope your week’s off to a wonderful start.
We’ve been walking through how I spend my quiet time with God, and today I want to share how I end that time and start the rest of my day.
After journaling, gratitude, listening, direction, and creative flow… I don’t just dive straight into emails or social media.
First, I turn on worship music – usually a playlist that includes my wife’s music (which still gets me every time 😌).
I let that worship music carry the tone of the quiet time into the rest of my day.
Then I move into whatever God’s directed me to do.
But I do it differently now, because I’ve already been with Him… before the grind tries to take over.
I’m moving forward edified and ready to conquer what’s ahead.
A quiet time is not just about hearing from God, but moving with Him into the day.
You don’t have to linger for hours, but don’t rush off too fast either.
Take a breath. Receive His peace and grace (divine empowerment) to carry you.
You’ll notice the difference.
Hope this has been some help and have a great rest of your week!
David
