How much time do you spend in the car every week?
Between work, errands, and everything in between, we spend thousands of hours behind the wheel. And most people waste that time with mindless noise—radio, talk shows, or whatever happens to be playing.
But what if your car became a classroom? What if that drive time actually pushed you forward instead of just passing the time?
Make Your Drive Time Work for You
Years ago, I started using my drive time differently.
Instead of zoning out, merely listening to music, or getting frustrated with traffic, I turned it into a time to grow. I listened to:
- Sermons that built my faith
- Messages that encouraged and challenged me
- Podcasts that taught me new skills
And honestly? It changed everything.
Instead of wasting hours every week, I started filling my mind and spirit with things that mattered. Over time, what I listened to shaped how I think, how I lead, and even what I teach today.
Try This Simple Shift
Next time you get in the car, before hitting play on something random, ask yourself:
👉 Will this feed me spiritually?
👉 Will this help me grow?
👉 Will this push me toward my God-given purpose?
If the answer is no…pick something better. Even if it’s just 5 or 10 minutes at a time, it adds up.
Imagine how much stronger your faith and mindset could be by the end of this year!
If you missed it, I just dropped a new video breaking this down, and I think it’ll encourage you.
