When you’re stuck in shame over your past, it’s easy to feel like you’re honoring God by being hard on yourself. But self-punishment isn’t the same as repentance… and it’s definitely not redemption.
God’s forgiveness doesn’t need your guilt to validate it. It just needs your willingness to receive it.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to earn your way back into God’s grace, this message is for you. There is real freedom available when you finally believe what God says about you… instead of what shame says about you.
Scriptures referenced:
🔹 Romans 8:1 – “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
🔹 Hebrews 8:12 – “I will remember their sins no more.”
📌 What’s one thing from your past that you’ve struggled to forgive yourself for… but know God already has? Leave a comment (even if it’s vague). Writing it out could be the first step in releasing it. 🙌
