Hope you’re having a great week so far!
Here’s something God told me in my quiet time this morning and I felt like He wanted me to pass it along to you.
You’ve got to think differently.
You’re currently putting the whole world of your calling on your shoulders.
Think smaller, only steering the wheel to where the headlights shine. You don’t have to know or figure out all the rest stops, speed limits, curves, traffic, sightseeing, traffic lights, gas stations, food stops, or the exact time you’ll arrive at your destination.
Just enjoy the drive…knowing you’re actually driving and going in the right direction.
I may take you on some detours and so might life.
The enemy will try to derail you and get you to stop, but look at that as part of the adventure and a chance to walk in faith with Me.
Enjoy the drive, enjoy the journey. There are beautiful sights to be seen along the way. Don’t try to speed on by them, trying to get so quickly to your destination.
Keep driving where I lead you, enjoy who you’re with, have conversations, crank up the music, learn from some podcasts, and when you stop somewhere…enjoy the time there, but don’t set up residence there. Get back into the car and continue on your journey.
At some point you will arrive at where I’m leading you. Then it may be time to set up residence or get you ready for another journey, another adventure.
Today, just drive…enjoy the scenery, who you’re with, and remember there’s no rush to get to your destination.
Tomorrow, you’ll be that much further along and just repeat.
Taste and see that the Lord is good!
Psalm 34:8
Hope that’s of benefit to you and have a super rest of your week!
David
