Don’t Accept Defeat! Change Your Life Now with God’s Help

If someone asked you to rate the different areas of your life on a scale from 1 to 10, how would you score them? A score of 1 means things are in rough shape, while a 10 means you’re thriving.

If certain areas ranked low, why is that? 🤔

Has it been that way for a long time, or has it just been for a season?

Are you working to make that area better?

Or have you resigned yourself that it’s always going to be this way?

Here’s the good news: It doesn’t have to stay that way. Things can change.

Don’t settle for where it’s at. Don’t accept defeat!

And if that area is low because of circumstances or someone else, then YOU can change!

Jim Rohn once said, “Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better.”

In other words, don’t wait for circumstances to change. Focus on what you can do to grow and improve. With God’s help, you have the power to move forward.

My Financial Turning Point

Years ago, my finances were at about a 3 or 4. I made good money, but I was in debt with no savings. I really couldn’t see a way out.

I could’ve settled for that, but instead, I chose to change my mindset. I believed things would improve because God is good and wants the best for me. In seeking God’s guidance He gave me a financial plan, which I then took action on.

Now, we’ve been debt-free for a few years, we’ve reached our savings goals, and we didn’t even need to make more money to do it.

So how about you? Ask the Lord what you can do to improve the low ranking areas of your life where you feel stuck.

Maybe that means working on yourself… or maybe it’s getting help from someone else. A good coach can help you see what’s holding you back—and show you how to break through.

Here’s How to Get Started

âś… Identify low-scoring areas: Check out this list of 10 key areas of life and rate them on a scale of 1 to 10. If an area scores 5 or lower, take note of it.

đź’ˇ Reflect on “why it’s low”: Is it due to circumstances, past choices, or mindset? Has it been that way for a season or a long time? Be honest with yourself.

🙏 Seek God’s guidance: Pray and ask the Lord to show you what steps you can take and how to grow in that area.

đź’Ş Focus on what you can control (YOURSELF): You may not be able to change every situation, but you have full control over your mindset, habits, and actions.

🚀 Take action: Don’t wait until you feel motivated. Get moving on the steps God’s shown you. Small, consistent steps lead to big results.

🤝 Consider outside help: A coach or mentor can provide the support and perspective you need to move forward.

Your Next Step

The bottom line? Don’t accept defeat. Don’t settle for less than what God has for you.

With God’s strength and a willingness to change, you can see real transformation—starting now.
