Do You Remember What God’s Done?

Do You Remember What God’s Done?

Here in the United States, we have a holiday called Memorial Day, where we remember and honor the men and women who died for our country while serving in the U.S. military.

This holiday reminds me that we should also show honor to God by deliberately and regularly remembering what He has done in our lives.

Take some time right now to recount some specific instances where God has rescued you, delivered you, freed you, saved you, healed you, encouraged you, provided for you, and blessed you.

Write these things down so that you can constantly look back on them and reflect on how faithful and loving our God is.

Be deliberate about remembering.

Look back on these things regularly and give Him thanks.

As you do this, you’ll not only be showing honor to God, but it will give you hope in whatever you might currently be going through.

These things should serve as reminders and encourage you that because of what God has done, you can have the assurance that He’s already provided any answer you need!

He is faithful and loving…always!

Have a great rest of your week and remember…God is good and life should be too!

David

📖 Scripture of the Week

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.

I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.

Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God?

You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.

Psalm 77:11-14 (NIV)

🗨️ Quote of the Week
