3 Practical Steps to Maximize Your God-Given Potential

Have you ever felt like there’s more inside you than what you’re currently living out?

Like God put something big in you – but you’re not sure how to actually walk it out in your daily life?

You’re not alone.

I remember a season when I was constantly frustrated. I knew I was called to more, but I had no idea where to start. I’d pray, read, and listen to sermons, but I still felt stuck.

It wasn’t until I made a few practical changes, and stopped overcomplicating it, that things finally started to shift.

Here are a few simple steps that helped me. And I believe they can help you too.

👇 3 Practical Steps to Maximize Your God-Given Potential

1. Ask God for Specific Direction

Don’t just pray general prayers…get specific.

Ask God what He’s placed in your heart for this season. Take time to listen, and write it down.

If you’re not sure where to start, ask Him to show you one area where He wants you to grow or step out.

One specific prayer can open more doors than a hundred vague ones.

2. Take One Small Step

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the big picture. So don’t start there.

I like to ask people: how do you eat an elephant? Answer: one bite at a time.

Ask the Holy Spirit: What’s one thing I can do today to move forward?

Maybe it’s reaching out to a mentor. Maybe it’s signing up for a class, or simply setting aside 15 minutes to plan.

Whatever it is, do that one thing. Small steps add up to big results.

3. Surround Yourself With Encouragement

You were never meant to do this alone.

Get around people who will speak life into you, challenge you, and hold you accountable.

That could mean joining a group, connecting with a coach, or simply inviting a friend to pray with you each week.

Who you do life with matters more than you think.

God didn’t create you to live on autopilot. He placed gifts, dreams, and purpose inside you for a reason.

Take practical steps of faith, no matter how small, and He’ll meet you right where you are. And He’ll lead you further than you ever imagined.

If you’re ready to take your next step and want some extra support, I offer personal 1:1 coaching sessions designed to help you move forward with clarity and faith.

So here’s my question for you:

What’s one step you can take this week toward the calling He’s placed on your life?

Hit reply and let me know. I’d love to encourage you and pray for you.

Make it a fantastic week!
